Thanks! On a side note - I haven't had the chance to play it yet, I don't have much time to play TTRPGs nowadays, but I do have time to read them, and Triangle Agency is one of the most interesting, innovative games I've had the pleasure of reading

the vast majority of in-depth play culture writing I've been able to find is focused specifically on OSR (but you can sort of puzzle out the others by hearing the complaints and reactions within it) and a great resource collecting tons of that is blogs on tape: blogsontape.paperspencils.com

alldeadgenerations.blogspot.com/2022/06/a-ma... This blog post, featured on that podcast, had a lot of insights I really liked reading about--and I have complicated feelings about it but I think the goal of understanding & codifying procedure in general is a goo done

I also recently talked about this book: mitpress.mit.edu/978026201917... which pitches that procedure shouldn't be codified by outsiders, but within a single community The other stuff I've read has been forum posts on specific play cultures where people are discussing and debating them (madness)
