Nothing dt has till Oct 14th or so to appeal to SCOTUS. If they deny cert or uphold appellate court the importer paying the tariff at the port of entry will be entitled to a refund just like the IRS issuing a refund. If they overrule well we no longer have only Conggress w/ the power to do tariffs.

The court that rendered this opinion is composed of 8 appointed by a D (5 by Obama 2, Biden, 1 Clinton) 3 Rs ( Bush, GW & GHW). But get this the majority opinion that dt HATES w/ 7 votes written by a R + 6 Ds. The dissent written by an Obama & joined by 1 other Obama & 2 Rs!

That isn't accurate. Countries have stopped shipping to US packages to individuals w/ value <$800. Foreign cos don't care because they don't pay the tariff. Only reason they wouldn't ship is if the orders decreased due to demand dropping.(but under dt 1.0 domestic washing machines prices increased
