@chadbourn.bsky.social I heard now that the reason for the negativity was the fact that they use Israeli parts to build the frigates. That definately is a problem, especially since we have had a huge discussion regarding Israeli companies in the retirement fund.
I haven’t heard that.
It came from the departement itself, so I assume it's true.
Norway’s parasitic oil fund remains heavily invested in Israeli firms despite the noisy PR after getting sussed for unethical investments. There are some in Norway who’d have preferred the Russians to provide Norway with frigates and others the Germans. Such is Norway. www.nrk.no/nyheter/sv-v...
