As amazing as that is, it could never happen in the U.S. Because the moment you tell an American that they HAVE to do something, (like a petulant child) they’ll scream, cry and say NO! Even when they know it’s a good idea. (Like guns) And that is the stupidity of Americans.

Honestly, I was looking at what the us would do after the collapse and how long it would take them to build back up a government. But the right metric for how long it would take things to fall apart.

It is actually good for business. Those flowers attract polienaters which improve the yield on the field and also serves as homes for larger predator insects who prey on pests eating the crops. Win/win for the farmers!
