Way overdue. I also feel gun violence will not change in this country. Too many people making too much money on war guns.

Honest question: Can states set their own sales taxes on guns, ammunition and accessories? Like, 1000%? Gun taxes would go into a special fund for medical and mental health expenses for victims, and mental health services for troubled youth.

Probably. Although I see people making trips out of state for their ammo to avoid taxes, like people do with liquor and cigarettes, it certainly would make some think twice.

Yeah, if you can buy a gun off the radar, you'd probably get the ammo that way, too.
