The allegations that the Iranians are so dumb that they carried out an attack that supported Israel's claim of prevalent anti-Semitism in Australia because the Iranians were desperate to demonstrate their reach (why not do it in NZ then?) seem to rest on Iran being bad, but not good at being bad.
