I’ve had a scare while teaching public #school before. My local police have also stopped a mass shooter before he carried one out a few years ago. School #shootings are in the back of every #teachers mind during the school day. It can happen anywhere and anytime by formerly law abiding people. 1/
Then fact that we literally sell any US adult multiple #guns for mass quick human #murder, regardless of the data, regardless of warning signs, the day they want them is insanity. That they can do so without training, without liability insurance, and without many basic checks is #insanity. 2/
It’s the availability, volume, and ease of acquisition of tools (guns) designed for mass shootings of humans that is THE difference in the US and THE reason our children and teachers are regularly slaughtered by deranged shooters. Fuck anyone who ignores this truth. We know what the #solutions are.
