Right??? Haha thank you! It was 1000% luck and fiddling with settings, make no mistake. But yeah man! I want to be able to do stuff like this here at home, without having to travel to the literal other side of the planet!

There's some really helpful advice here. Lots of good stuff to bring into the next outing. ISO was definitely set too high, this camera could've done 1600 easily. My kit lens (18-55mmF2.8-4) wide open with no zoom also would've been a better pick than the prime lens (23mmF2) I used.
