Lovely. Thanks for the reminder about great this is. I think the twentieth century modernism killed off those exclamations - Whitman, Dickinson, GMH and plenty of others loved an ejaculatory ah - probably influenced by Baudelaire and his followers, I’m guessing. Ah what a shame to see it pass.
