Apparent pulse storm (still need to see if it collapses east of Kelowna) passes through #VernonBC from the uncommon northeast. Passes left to right, south. Whole lotta lightning over the Highway 6 valley to Lavington.

I saw such a plane earlier but missed the tail number/type and they've not come back (?). Storms similar to yesterday are possible today. Unlike yesterday at this time, there is no rapid cumulus tower growth happening. If we don't see this start, I doubt we'll see anything in the North Okanagan.

Webcams around the Okanagan are showing similar conditions to Vernon (so far). No towering cumulus.

There's a double rainbow in there. I wonder what the precip amt was. Looks to be hi RH conditions, so I would expect any starts to be slow to pick up steam. Hot & humid here in the valley bottom. Strong PM winds (like a cold front) with moderate buildup. Clearing off now.
