1000% there was some bribery going on there. Why would someone give up that much money? Because they’re getting compensated handsomely. Not out of the goodness of their hearts. We know the Cons are never in it for anyone else.

I’m not sure what the percentage of indigenous to non-indigenous people in the area is, but if there were enough indigenous, running one of their own may be able to defeat PP again, because like Smith, PP won’t work on reconciliation or honour land rights. 2/2
That would be nice but it’s sub 150k people, most rural, stunningly non-diverse, predominantly farming communities. Why they think PP or the Cons in general are good is beyond me but they are highly unlikely to vote differently than they have since…forever.

81.8% voted for Kurek, by far the largest margin of any riding. They don’t trust PP to win in anything but the safest most overwhelmingly conservative riding in Canada. What a sham.

It's not about believing in anything though - it's just about power. PP will do and say anything for power. He has no actual beliefs - except to crush the unfortunate, demean women and be as nasty as he possibly can. He's not good people. That's the message voters sent, which he is now ignoring.
