I had a black lab as a kid. Smart, friendly, loyal and a HUGE fan of bath days. Oh, he thought he was Snoopy. My dad built him a doghouse in the backyard with lumber left over from new garage. He only ever slept on the roof. :D

I waited till he was hungry. Then I put a little dog food in the bowl and rattled it around and magically he found the ability to run downstairs. Now he’s two and his favorite spot to sleep and put his toy is the seventh or sixth step.
