2 ideas There are balms for dogs' feet which are more wax-like, not slippery and may provide some traction There are hock splints - neoprene and easy to put on and take off that may give her enough of a boost to get up easier. Lots of sellers and pictures on Amazon.

This is so funny we just found out we are going to be able to rescue a 4 month old puppy and we get to name him, and my family just decided to name him Shadow, which I had never heard of a dog named Shadow before and now I find out he won’t be the only Shadow❤️ (puppy tax paid below❤️)

In 2016 I in Raleigh-Durham NC (there on a work trip, ended it early) and at the airport was a WAGON full of golden puppies being flown West to be guide/assistance dogs. Flight delays, bad weather, the dog people put down a blankie and let us roll around with the pups for HOURS. Best. Day.
