We recently lost our 14 yr old Chocolate Lab/Red Boder Collier. Cancer. Husband has Cancer/Parkinsons & last 2 yrs never left his side. Before she was my playmate. Ask her find the water-ran to spicket & end of hose. 3 exact balls diffeffent colors ? Pick out each color evey time. Amazing.

You are so right, every moment is a gift. Little annoying ones, cuddles ones. Every night she would check on her pack 1 at a time to make sure we were safe. A recuuse pup brought to my door. Could not turn down that face, friend. She held on so long out of. sheer love & devotion.

This is a good illustration as to why you’re supposed to have a fence around your pool - so save non-swimmers.

Re: #5 Not to be a downer, but let me be a downer. Someone left their dog in the car with the motor running with the AC blowing strong at the trainer we used. During their 45 minute training session the motor died and so did the poor dog.

Not being critical of this post or the person who lost the dog. Just urging caution in these situations.

Fireworks are banned where I live, but the people who want to shoot them off do so anyway. The police cannot keep up. We live in a veritable tinder box, and I have watched rows of pine trees go up in huge flames from my front windows. Fireworks are selfish, cruel, and destructive.
