My parents had an above ground pool. Their poodle would jump in to swim. Then he couldn't get out. My dad put rollers on the deck so it could easily be moved and said poodle couldn't get in alone.

Buddy of mine had a pit bull that ❤️ to swim. Dog looked like it was drowning, back was like a 45° to the surface. He wld swim frm the minute he was let out for the day until his owner came home. By end of summer the dog was SHREDDED. Most muscular dog I ever saw. Total sweetie but terrifying looks.
