I love the dogs but I don’t dig the dudes who need to be on camera narrating. It’s so obnoxious

So I'm guessing that Ziggy was only 2 years old when Rufus, the son, was born.

Human DNA test predict the degree of relationship between people (or dogs) based on amount of shared DNA. 23andMe thought my niece was my granddaughter! Especially with strays where nobody knows exactly how old they are, it’s probably even more fuzzy.

I have the same cat that I swear keeps coming back over and over. First time when I was a kid, another as my first cat as an adult, and once again now. A few years after their passing. I swear by it. They feel the same. Each is unique but they feel exactly the same when I look in their eyes.

My brain is glitching. Rufus is Ziggy’s son. Rufus was adopted in 2016 and passed away in 2025. Rufus, the son, died but the dad is still alive? How old is Ziggy?

Ziggy could be only a year or two older than Rufus. Ziggy could be as young as 11-12. For a chihuahua, that's middle age.

Doubt that is a Chi by the size, the long legs and ears. Pretty sure these dogs are MinPins. Mine looked exactly like them. Not all MinPins look like little Dobies.

I just googled them. They're Chi-Rat terrier mixes. That explains the legs 😁

Oh, you're probably right. I think my perception is skewed because my chi mix is a little larger than Ziggy and Rufus, but I still think of her as a 'chihuahua'.

Oh don't let the size fool you, he *could* be a deer type/deerhead Chihuahua (or part), like my boy! Long ears & legs, he's about 1.5ft tall. This type of Chihuahua is older than the modern Apple head or teacup variety ~ and they're often mistaken for MinPins (if the colour is right)

And weirdly, we had a similar type of dog when I was a toddler...and when I saw an old pic of that dog, I wondered if they might be related too ☺️

I too was doing the math on that one. He’s OLD like super geriatric old. But it does happen.
