We had a dog that used to go lay in the suitcase.

My cat used to do that.

So did our cats, and the smaller dogs, oh and the slightly obese rottie/black lab mix who was about twice the size of the suitcases. (He got big from some medications he was on, but had a good and active life because of them too)

Long ago, movers were packing my entire house. Stuff was all over floor & yard. Of course, my elderly doggo was anxious. As things were cleared & truck was closed up, my doggo ran over to my car & laid down in grass next to “his” car door. He knew.

My baby did the same thing, when I was getting ready to go on a trip and leave him with my wife. Boy, do I miss my baby. 😢
