Oh, how I love this post! Winnie is totally awesome! 🐾 I had a wiener dog and he was the best. Lived to be 20+ years old. He was a rescue dog and was going to get put down and we adopted him at 7 years of age. Best dog ever although I say that for all my rescue dogs! 🐾❤️

We adopted/foster failed Oscar when he was around 17 and got almost exactly 3 years with him. He was a very special old guy.

Bless you for adopting and rescuing an old dog and giving him love and joy for the remainder of his life. This was my wiener dog after getting all his teeth pulled. His tongue hung out the side of his mouth. It was too cute.

My current dachsie is 19. A long-hair. Blind and deaf and her sense of smell is pretty shot, too. But she loves life and food and warm sun on her back and snuggles. Bestest girl!
