This is Dingo. He gets very anxious if he doesn't have a lap to sit on. In order to meet his lap needs, his family made him an emotional support dummy using pre-worn clothes donated from his grandpa. Dingo couldn't be happier, and we're happy for him. 13/10 #SeniorPupSaturday (FB: Janelle Grace)

Dingo is in good company. We had a Yorkie (since passed), that loved babies. We never understood why. She would always get excited every time she saw a baby, so we bought her a latex baby doll. She slept with it all the time.

I have a friend who has a couple of Halloween props, a witch and a mummy, and his cats take turns sitting in their laps. They’re like giant dolls that you sit on a bench or the couch. He started leaving them out year round because his cats became attached to them.
Team Cat would never accept such a rude jerk.
The creep factor is a LITtle high there.
When I retire, I'd like to volunteer my time as an emotional support dummy for dogs in need.
