What the fuck? Hey baitclick bot, pick a lane: baiting incels with sexual harrasment "lies" conspiracy, or baiting diy lovers with cute diy crochet ? Because that is the worst attempt I have seen in a long time!
Ok I guess I’ll just weep at my desk
OMD! Sophie is so gentle with Nora. I love when she puts her foot on Nora to pet her 🥹🥹🥹
This is the sweetest animal video ever. 15/10 for both, please.
Awwww
Dog and bird approximately the same height was not on my bingo card!
sophie is all of us
Omg the little nuzzling and slow petting, my heart ;o; <3
This is exactly what I needed today 🥰
...why "Where Is My Mind?"
Dog saliva can be toxic to birds. Birds immune system isn’t as good as our own. Licking should be avoided. But what they hey, it gets lots of likes 🙄

Friends!
Beautiful. Sophie is so in love. ❤️
Yay! I was so hoping you’d post about them. They’re so cute together.
Amen! Everybody needs somebody, now they both have a somebody!!!
This is the sweetest thing I’ve seen in a while. Much needed.
Bro. 12 is too low on this one. Respectfully.

What a good and gentle bird. 💕
This is honestly the most wholesome thing I have ever seen. Animals, they are amazing. ❤️
🥰
Omg @judesta.bsky.social 😍
I’ve had dogs with cats, hamsters, ferrets and currently a deaf (totally lovable shithead) dog who tortures her big brother. Never had any near fatalities or injuries - just fun buffoonery!! Animals seem to learn from their family. They have so much to teach humans. 🐾❤️
Well that’s my cuteness overload for the day
Would y'all stop making me happy-sad cry today?!
a friend with a dog fostered my parrot for 3 weeks while i was traveling. when i came back, the parrot barked and the dog ate peanuts.
This is really sweet
We can all get along if we try. 🤗
"Must protect the weird-looking bird."
I hope all the dogs on here are real. 🤞
Has anyone ever died from an overdose of cuteness? Asking for a friend...
Our dog lived his whole life (15 years) with an African Grey parrot. For the most part, he ignored her. He's gone now and she turned 23 in April. Grace barks, growls and makes the squeaky toy noise. So, a little bit of Spencer is still with us.
Aw, I'm so sorry for your loss. ❤️🩹
Oh my. Absolutely love this especially her feet touching the dogs back. 🩷
Aw, every creature needs a companion.
@weratedogs.com have you seen the crow & border collie friendship though?
I think, because birds tend to be chatterboxes, people forget that birds get lonely too. Glad Sophie has a new friend ♥️
We always find our soulmate in every lifetime. Our outside my look different but the soul on the inside will always find its mate
Phew, this hit me right in the feels today. 😭 What a precious pair. ❤️❤️❤️
Sooo adorable and sweet!🥰💞💞
Only 12 out of 10? Are you kidding? That's at least 1000 out of 10. The shot of them together falling asleep and then Sophie watching over Nora as she slept had me in tears. So beautiful.
Your posts and the Steve The Otter ones are the only ones that don't make me want to take a bath with my toaster. Thanks!
I cannot
Animals are better than us.
💙💙💙
The bird petting a dog? That was just what I needed. Thanks.
"ride my noble steed, we must acquire MORE SNACKS!" Nora, probably
we'll just pretend I got the names right or wrote "on me dear Sophie! its time for the snack hunt!"
This is so wonderful to see. Melts my heart.
It's very cute, but I would be nervous, too. Cockatoos and macaws can do a lot of damage with that beak. I once watched a macaw bite a man's finger clean off.
When I was a kid I had a macaw three dogs, a few cats and a turtle in a big space. Everybody would come eat happily together, except for the macaw, they were all scared of her. She was seriously powerful, could bite through wood.
Parrots are so smart, and they remember things and people. They can be very vengeful as well. The guy that got his finger bit off at our shop was in the day before messing with the same macaw. She remembered him as soon as he walked through the doors & started screeching, we warmed him, but he FAFO!
One of the smartest animals I've ever seen. Ours never hurt anyone, but we were all aware that she could.
Yes, they are. They live a long time and can be passed around from owner to owner in different types of environments and can become neurotic and aggressive if they don't know you or kept busy. But generally, they are very passive and make wonderful companions, although they can be noisy and messy.
I know too many sad stories with interspecies momentary lapse.
Yep. IMLs can't hurt.
For some it is death. Personal experience in the bird rescue community, formerly pet biz.
Yes. When I lived in Hawaii I worked with a company called Birds of Paradise, taking pictures of exotic birds with tourists. That's where that incident happened but people were always fucking with them even though we had warnings. And yes they can kill small animals.
I won't tell the tales. My heart goes out to all the pets who are put in jeopardy for a cute post.
My, aren't we a cuteness buzz kill. Haha!
yeah, the kill is a bummer
It's cute until someone dies. A friend of mine was sent to the hospital for massive blood loss over 200 stitches after being attacked with by their cat that went crazy and then almost died again with secondary infections. Cat bites are like Komodo dragons infested with bacteria designed to kill.
I think it's clear that Nora is a solid 15/10, as evidenced by her immediately winning over a potentially skeptical cockatoo like Sophie.
This is fantastic!
Cuteness OVERLOAD! 🐶💙🐦
Ok, hear me out. I've got a great idea for an animated series...
That we would all be like 💖💖💖 Sophie and Nora 💖💖💖
