There’s no record of him telling Democratic lawmakers to stop introducing LGBTQ+ bills or blaming his predecessor for expanding trans rights. While his remarks on trans athletes in his 2025 podcast reflect a controversial stance on one issue, they don’t signal blanket opposition to trans rights
