Good question. I wasn’t commenting on law enforcement per se, but on judicial procedure, specifically, how Georgia law mandates a pause when an appeal is filed. So the judge’s action isn’t discretionary or ideological; it’s legally automatic. 1/4

Defiance here isn’t about optics, it’s about survival. When compliance risks institutional harm, resistance becomes necessary. We’ve seen this before: the Supreme Court allowed board member terminations to proceed without first ruling on their legality. 3/4
