It definitely is, but this many guns would likely just make you a target if society started to break down.

The guy I was dating over Y2K was expecting and cheering for apocalypse. I think part of what led to the events causing us to split up is he had no clue what to do with himself when the apocalypse didn't actually...happen.

I tried to make the same point you are about the guns, but y'know...we're the Oregon Trail generation and all you need is guns and ammo and you can just trade for everything else (or, not said out loud, do a little armed robbery as a treat).

It's more an apocalyptic FANTASY, they fantasise about being able to use their 300 guns to protect themselves WHEN the apocalypse comes.

Then get actual useful provisions? Those guns and showing them off makes them a target and they won’t survive against a military. makes more sense to stock pile ammo then whatever the fuck this is. This isn’t anxiety this hate and ignorance.
