Please educate yourself on what resistance movements in France and Poland did with Nazi iconography in the clandestine newspapers during WWII and then politely go fly a kite.

Not queer people to my knowledge, but they acted savagely to Jewish people and communists, especially in Poland. I think this reinforces my first point that resistance movements and leaders are rarely perfect. Our main goal should be to pressure leaders with our expectations to do what is right.

You are correct. I am not comparing Gavin Newsom to the founder of Libération. I’m comparing his staff’s mockery strategy to some of the content in those publications. I’d even compare the strategy to the film To Be or Not To Be.

The Americans and Russians were fascist. Still are. America kept it's fascism alive ironically though Trump's political coach and lawyer Roy Cohn, who unlike most Americans, couldn't move on from fascism after WW2. Now Trump, and Steven Miller have revived and perfected American fascism.
