I've told my precious girl to smear the blood of her classmates on her if it comes to it. I've told her I'd want them to do the same if she were murdered. This damn timeline breaks me every few days anymore. 💔🙏🏼

❤️ I cry a lot with these discussions. Have been since she showed me, at the age of 6 in kindergarten, what they are supposed to do if the bad guys come. She runs to her big art easel, grabs the dry eraser, throws it at me and then runs. I sobbed. This is what we're doing to our babies. 😔

Thank you. It does, but she came home today when others did not. 🙏🏼 I took her for takeout, and on the way we talked about what to do in the event of, bc if I'm driving, maybe I won't cry at the heartbreak. What a terrible country this is that guns matter more than our loved ones.

The NRA is fighting for gun suppressors (silencers) and fully automatic (machine guns) weapons. No one needs a machine gun with high capacity magazines and silencers.
My heart hurts. Most Americans are in favor of common sense gun laws. We aren't talking gun eradicating.
We have pew pews in our home, in a safe with a fingerprint ID. I’m not getting rid of our items. But we did the appropriate paperwork, didn’t mind the waiting period for the permits to clear. Because THAT’S part of the process of being responsible!!
