I want to replay Final Fantasy XIII: Lightning Returns. But I can't on PlayStation. Hope that changes someday because it's an incredible game that deserves a second chance.

I think it's proof that our timeline is fucked. In what world is FF XIII best played on an Xbox Series X? So weird.... Hope these games come to PS5 with some enhancements 💖 I know on PC there's mods that give you the cutscene character models during gameplay. But those ports are very compromised.

Playstation have gotten weird with not having certain older games on the platform. You would think that games like FFXIII Lightning Returns would at least be on the store ready to purchase

The answer is simple. The PS3 games are not backward compatible with PS4 and PS5 because they use different architectures. Also FF games are Square Enix's responsibility not PlayStation. They are capable of making a PS4/5 port if they want to.

I actually have all three on disc and started a new playthrough of this one a couple of weeks ago! I know I'm in the minority, but the FFXII series is my favourite!

A 13 trilogy collection on steam at the least would be a godsend. The games are old enough that they are a pain to get working on deck at all. Steam Deck hates launchers a lot, lol.

that sucks they never ported it. it's on pc. i loved lightning returns. probably has my favorite combat of the series. even the timer didn't bother me cause i could freeze it so long it never made a difference. i had to afk for the timer to run out by the end and i did everything in it lol

it's the initial investment that hurts... then you just upgrade as you go. i go for low end cause it's cheaper and i don't need amazing graphics. a 3060ti works just fine for my needs. easiest way for me to do it is get a CC with 200 back when spending 1k. so it's 800 then pay & destroy the card.

haha. yeah understandable. the initial investment is a bitch. so i just go... where can i get deals to fix the issue. and just make sure you pay the thing off. long as you can do that... you normally can get shit quite free. hell i change banks every few years with signing bonuses to get the 300.

It’s actually kind of insane that PS has had a lot of exclusivity with Square, but between Xbox, PC, and PS they are the only one you can’t play this on still.
