My son, since pre-k, has been taught to place his hand over his mouth so the killer doesn’t hear him crying… They were led into classroom supply closets, or against the door wall and told to place their hands over their mouths so they are reminded to be silent. As a mom…😔…it rips my heart out
My middle schooler was told that, if a gunman broke into the classroom, she should throw a stapler or book or whatever she could find at him. Preteens planning to throw staplers at a gunman who is trying to murder them.
Yep…stopping a AR-15 with a stapler, ruler, pen, book…seems like a plan…

Things have changed so drastically. Besides fire drills, the only thing we practiced was "duck and cover", in case Russia dropped an atomic bomb. 😏

I would get behind this movement in a half second! However, this govt puts NO emphasis on education, especially red states. They want our children dumb and complacent. I would LOVE to see this in action, I wonder if we can get parents to sign on…🤔
Your post brought me to tears. The thought of innocent young children in schools being prepped on how to try to stay alive is heart-breaking. The cruelty of those in power who refuse to act to end this nightmare is truly beyond comprehension. It’s the goddamn guns!
