Genitals and chromosomes matter in some contexts but the vast majority of times, we look at gender. Say its winter and someone drops a glove and I chase after them. Do I shout "sir" Or "ma'am"? Im not checking genitals or DNA. Winter clothing hides our bodies. Im likely reading fashion cues
99.9% of the time, someone's gender has little impact on my life. I dont need to know anything about your DNA, hormones, genitals, or medical history to not be a douche. Society is filled with diverse ppl - the emphasis should be on learning how to respect and work with those you may not understand
