Is it really that bad in Washington? 😭

I'll put it this way: This is the first week in like a month that it's dropped below 80° in the Seattle area for longer than a day, but it still feels like it's in the 90° range purely because of the humidity. I am dying💀

Well, at least it’s not forever, right? I could do a summer of humidity, especially bc Seattle’s summer isn’t all that long anyway compared to where I live now. It’s been humid here since summer started and it’s only gonna get worse. This is just the beginning for us☠️

I would say it's long enough, but you're right. I know the really hot months in SoCal don't start until mid-august and can last into november, and we hardly break 100° more than once or twice a summer. I've always hated hot weather period, so I may just be overestimating how it compares.

Yeah, a couple of months are literally nothing compared to what I have to go through every year. I’ve always looked at a couple of months of summer as a trade-off for lovely cooler weather the rest of the year! I can do summer just fine. I want to experience all seasons, it’s my whole MO for moving
