Crunchyroll fired the va for Mob because he asked them to at least CONSIDER having a SINGLE MEETING with SAG-AFTRA. Crunchyroll bought out RightStuf and promised to honor the Dirty Pair Kickstarter that they had already completed, then buried it and hasn't said anything about it in over 2 years.

Crunchyroll stole a va's mail and gave out their contents to in-house employees, which is literally a felony. Crunchyroll supports pedophiles via their decision to license the Ruroni Kenshin reboot, a franchise created by a guy who had SO MUCH CP ON HIS PC THE COPS THOUGHT HE WAS SELLING IT.

There was a time when Crunchyroll had a "free with ads" model, and their mobile app was so dogshit at loading ads it would crash the app so regularly that it was basically unusable. Crunchyroll's official response to customer complaints about this for the longest time was "buy premium to fix it lol"

Crunchyroll once lied to a game studio making a LEGAL Tower of God game claiming they had exclusivity contracts with the va's, and threatened legal action if they tried to hire them. They told this to the va's as well and threatened to blacklist them if they signed on to va in the game.

Crunchyroll started out as a pirate streaming site! But unlike most other pirate sites at the time, they locked their stolen goods behind a paywall. Worse still, those fansubs were often stolen directly from the fansubbers without their even knowing. Did they get a cut of that paywall money? Nope!

Crunchyroll had to settle a class-action lawsuit for illegally selling registered users personal information without their knowledge or consent for YEARS. Crunchyroll once produced an original anime, but delayed its release for 2 years because the anti-lgbtq+ chuds said mean mean about them.

In 2019 the va for Reigen, Chris Niosi, was accused of sexual abuse, to which he admitted publicly was true. Did Crunchyroll drop him? No! Didn't even make a statement! So remember future va's: being a sex pest is fine, but wanting a liveable wage for your fellow va's is a step too far!

He did not admit to sexual abuse. Actually he pussyfooted around his abuse and one of his exes had to come out and call him out for leaving things out and downplaying things.

Mmmmmmm I remember this time. I watched 100 episodes of Eyeshield 21 before getting fed up and switching to bootleg streaming sites because *those* popup ads didn’t crash my app.
