I grew up in Silicon Valley before it was that, known as the Valley of Hearts Delight. Peaches, plums, cherries, apricots & nectarine orchards were everywhere. All those stone fruits were outside food only! They dripped down your arms and off your elbows. It’s so hard to find fruit like that now.
