It's a long version of PrEP and still a long lasting antiretroviral so it's not all that clear yet in mass populations how protective it will hold up to real world conditions. Not a lot of long term studies on it yet. As always, anything is hope but we do need to see real world results...

Needs more post trial studying to establish if it is a better version of PrEP. PrEP often fails because of non-compliance so this could address that but not a lot of longer term data yet checking for increased drug strength waning faster than expected or other real world circumstances but it's hope
