I wrote a spec script for WKRP. It was easy to hear her character's voice in my head. The script didn't sell but it led me to my wonderful agent Bernie Weintraub. A few weeks later my 38-year career started.

So very sad... I worked in FM rock radio in the midwest US in the 80s. WKRP was a doco to anyone who was in the industry. We swore WKRP writers had a mole in our station. Like Jennifer Marlowe, our receptionist was also impossibly hot and did not need the job. Missing Loni, thinking of you. 😪❤️

May her spirits soar to the highest. she was such an amazing lady and so genuine. Every time she came home to Minnesota she came by the newspaper in North Saint Paul that I worked at to visit. She always gave me updates on her grandma who is at the nursing home, which was so sweet of her.

I went to high school with her daughter. My father had the biggest crush on her and I was upset when he seemed to keep staring at her! She seemed lovely and her reputation was nothing but.
