Defence of international waterways - is that really a contentious topic?
Defence of international waterways - is that really a contentious topic?
I was referring to the origin of the freighters and the enslavement of the local population by our corporations.
So lobbing missiles and drones at cargo ships is 'sticking it to the man'... Capitalism, colonialism and corporate greed - all worthy enemies. But I'd need more persuading to consider the Huthi anti-capitalist resistance fighters
What you read from my posts has nothing to do them. There are no ‘worthy enemies’, but if we act fairly, pirates rebels and even terrorists will vanish widely. But that would damage to our economy, and destroy our prosperity, which is based on the poverty of the other 80% on this globe.
Then what do you mean by 'defence'? 'Defence' as in aggressor (reversal) or 'defence' as in consequence of your own actions (too bad) or ...? Suffice to say - I see only good in jamming drones aimed at civilian targets. Fairer world is better though. Alas not in my lifetime..
Defence was to fend off an aggressor on your soil until the Six-Day War. Then, the definition of ‘preventive self-defence’ was introduced, thus blurring the word. Until this days, when NATO has given the term ‘defence of its own interests in other countries’ a completely new meaning. a backfire
substitute "...nothing to do them" to "...nothing to do with them"
