Franks is responsible for so much that was fucked up about OEF & OIF. The 9,000 mile screwdriver to A’stan was inexcusable. But the refusal to conduct Phase 4 planning and resourcing for Iraq was criminal. I knew guys in his 3 shop who got in screaming matches over that.
