Matthew Whitaker is the guy that I was referring to. He was a grifter that had worked for a company that promoted toilets for well endowed men. Trump appointed him acting AG after Jeff sessions resigned in 2018. I'm sure the Republicans will be fine with anyone that Trump nominates.

I remember that. Whitaker was eligible to be appointed under the Vacancies Act because he was working at the Department of Justice for more than 90 days when the vacancy opened. He appointment to Acting AG was challenged for other reasons.
