My local and state party prefers to hold banquets and teas for the donors...everything is a fundraiser. Only 1 candidate is actually talking to regular people door to door. He always wins. The rest expect people to come to them and their silly "events." Absolutely hopeless. I hear you.
I get emails and texts all the time for these things. I can't afford to spend 100 bucks on a dinner while paying cancer bills on a fixed retirement income. They know. They don't care
Sadly, if you don't have $$, they don't want you. And they wonder why we don't want anything to do with them either. I'm so sorry you are dealing with cancer. Hoping for the best outcome for you...💙
