In response to a post by Ron Filipowski (sp?). He was angry and said something to the affect of "you happy kids are dead, this is what you voted for". Not in great taste, sure. The sheer loss of life, with so many of them being children emotions are running very high. Things may be taken wrong 🙇‍♀️

> emotions are running very high As they should be. I'd be more worried if people were just going about their business, saying nothing. Those kids deserved better. So did their parents, no matter how they voted. This is not the "more perfect union" our founders hoped we would build.

Well you're all supporting this level of death every day in Gaza and totally saying nothing and going about your business. So it's still selective outrage.

Biden started it, Trump is continuing it. Harris didn't say she would stop it. The whole country supports it with your everyday silence. Opposing Genocide was supposed to be a red line. Now, everyone in the USA just pretends they're not doing it when there are US mercenaries shooting starving people

Hold up... Biden wasn't president when I was born and that shits been going on for AT LEAST 55 years. Try again. Get religion out of the region and you'll have a start... Until then... Tots n pears

The last President to stand up to Israel was Reagan when they were slaughtering Shi'as in Lebanon, causing the creation of Hezbollah.

Oh yeah. Where is that? 4 Congress people? Banned protests and nobody does anything. Or is it like the anti-Vietnam-War movement where it's just so Americans can say later that they opposed it when really 80% are voting for parties committing war crimes. It's a national shame.

i do however very much agree it is a national shame. a global shame, truly, but america is most to blame

my point is that people are taking action. some of us are not in denial. the argument of whether we are doing enough is another matter (one which i'd rather not debate here because i have already debated it three thousand times; tldr we are a very sick, exhausted, addicted & overworked nation)

We didn't even get a primary for Harris. It's somrwhat rich to equate you average citizen with their leaders who have disproportionate power.
