Europe is preparing for war. Should Russia prevail in Ukraine it will come soon. Should Ukraine prevail, it will only delay Russia's ambitions to invade Europe. Russia has shown their intentions and the West had best prepare for the inevitable.

You're assuming there will be anything left of Russia to have intentions. It isn't inevitable.

Yes, but if Ukraine prevails, it can delay Russian ambitions for maybe one or two generations. And at that time Russia will be mostly a de facto Chinese colony.

Russia will capitulate very soon. It operates by the Hitlers playbook. Then Russia will be split in Allied occupation zones. It is the only chance for Russia to survive. Look how Germany is reborn from ashes. The plan worked.
