Ah! So another factor could be that I don't engage as much with big accounts as I would with more special interest ones (that block early and often).

I don’t know. I’ve noticed that they’ll jump in with a reply for anyone who says anything supportive of trans people. Even if the account is not from someone famous. I think it’s a search term they use to find people to troll.
