Because they have never understood: we make things the world wants, not what the world needs. They are two very different things. People can live without what they want.

not entirely true, our agricultural products the world needs, the problem is other countries will come to us last, not first. and it is having an adverse effect on the world as China is now buying more soybeans from Brazil, which means they are cutting down rainforests.
