Gibraltar, Spain, Britain and the EU agree a deal which will effectively see Gibraltar join the EU Customs Union, thereby ensuring the free flow of goods, and Schengen, to ease movement of people. Good move to reverse some of the damaging effects of Brexit - at least for Gibraltar!

3 million of the 5 million Brits abroad were deliberately denied a vote as well, including nearly two-thirds of us in EU27. Things could have been very different, if only the franchise had been democratic and not discriminatory.

The U.K. (and Ireland) need to fast track joining Schengen. There’s absolutely no need for us to be on the outside.

Britain can't just inform the EU it is joining. We have to apply and sign a new treaty. That treaty must be ratified in all 27 national parliaments. Plus ours. Quite a hurdle to clear for a country that already walked away once before. You think all 27 states would agree to let us in?

You’ve taken my post too literally. Of course there is a process. My point is we are skirting round the edges.

GDP is over 4% lower now than were it would be had we not myopically left the EU. Brexit only works when it's reversed.

German GDP has grown by 1.0% since 2019. Not per year but in total. This year it will be zero. Being in the EU has really helped them 🤔

German GDP is literally nothing to do with Brexit. Typical Brexidiot whataboutism. Focus on what Brexit delivered, which is isolation, loss of trade, GDP and freedoms, for zero benefits or positives.
