It's inevitable we will rejoin, and I will be dancing a jig as when we do, it will include having to join the Euro and include greater integration because the stupid Brexiters will have sold our opt outs down the river for us. This will eventually lead to a united Ireland and independent Scotland.
Rejoining is a win-win. Of course sensible EU countries would welcome the UK back. Orban, taking his orders from Putin as usual would veto it, if he or Hungary are still as members. Perhaps the EU should consider a swap.
When
Whilst it is sad that we lost the special terms, I would take a "same as everybody else" membership.
The Brits still don’t understand what it means to be European, a large minority think everyone needs them, completely lacking the education to see we’re better together. A great move would be for Europe to expel the British media owners from their countries and send them back to the UK
That's actually not the case. Polling has shown that Britain is very much in line with France and some other members when it comes to support for the EU. Especially since Brexit. It's just that UK media and politicians choose to focus on the fascists and nationalists here rather than pro-EU voices.
I see the polls as well, however, this isn’t the view of everyday people in cities and towns who feel left behind, and that is a view I see and hear in France and Germany, hence the attraction of the AfD, Le Pen and Farage. They have nothing to offer but are selling the image that they’re different
