Rejoin needs to be a process. To undo the Brexit damage quickly UK should become a rule taker whilst negotiating full membership.
Unfortunately the 3rd is not a choice, but an aspiration.

I'm for rejoin, but would accept align as an intermediate step. And I'd like to take that step sooner rather than later. At the moment it feels like a noob taking their first lesson in a coracle.
We need to rejoin. But it’ll be decades before we’ll be let back in.
Nr 3 comes with the clause that British politicians will not be allowed to stamp their feet like angry children as soon as they don't get everything they want. The game is compromise for the common good and the rules are give and take.
