I guess Republicans running like a company since their politicians are bought, oligarchs pick their favorite, the most profitable, their talents just on how to serve the oligarchs best. they have propaganda machines to brainwashing voters.
Democrats are not fully bought, and their voters don't buy that Republican propaganda, if they select the best talents like Republicans then voters won't accept that, but if they define the talents as adequate and ethical politicians, then mega donors will be dissatisfied.
I guess that's why they said "the left" are eating their own, because Republicans don't have consciousness, Democrats are always in the conflicts between the mega donors and grassroot base.
