My only takeaway from this is I don't know how I should feel about all of the best players from the united states refusing to play in the gold cup not because of morals. but to protect their club careers. The reason they didn't play was because they didn't feel the risk was personally worth it.

USA football (soccer) has a pay to play problem and it's why the United States will never, if they stay on the current course, ever win a world cup. Our system requires players and their families to pay huge to have their kids in the system. I don't have a ton of time so i generated this for you
