For the record, I canvassed for (and by extension, voted for) Kamala Harris. Of course I'll vote for the Democratic candidate, but Newsom is dead wrong on trans rights and Harris's "at least I'm not Trump! Did you know Liz Cheney likes me?!" strategy was laughable in hindsight.
