This should be a no brainer for them. The time for bold actions is now and I don’t know what @greenparty.org.uk aren’t in active talks with Corbyn to agree something. Come on peeps!!

Probably due to Corbyn's party not existing yet and Greens being busy with a leadership election that could affect the deal a lot. If Zack becomes leader, Greens should be ready to go but I doubt [INSERT PARTY NAME] will respond soon.

Indeed. There isn’t any need for a new party. Corbyn and co should join the Greens once they have a new leader and push hard from there @greenparty.org.uk

Personally I think there shouldn’t be another party at all. The Greens are established. Corbyn should join and endorse the Green Party, providing their ethics align that is.

The term is ‘undemocratic’ and I’m not. I’m saying it seems odd to create one and divide the vote even more which will give Deform and even bigger chance of winning!

Their movement will be more successful purely because it will be truly democratic from the start; a member led party (see info from today). They already have 140,000 members in only 10 hours of opening. Corbyn owes the Greens NOTHING after they stabbed him in the back when he was LOTO.

Greens are member lead, always have been. They have a proven track record of managing a large council and have an increasing number of councillors. Another party means a more split vote which under our system means Deform could easily take power. Unity is needed.

What happened? PS how is the Green Party not democratic - actually seeking to understand, not being facetious.
