Being laughed really hurts. I've had to wear one in public on occasion, and I still choose to if I think I may have something contagious. I've tried to prepare some quips in case that happens to me. Sometimes, I think utter honesty is the right reply? "I'm immunodeficient...numnuts." 😂
These were youths, at a distance, and at the time I wasn't strong enough to cope. I suspect it would be different next time. I need to give it a try.
Ah, yeah. Youths can be cruel. Sometimes it helps me to practice in front of a mirror. 💕 Here's hoping it never happens to you again, but that if it does, you're ready!
I forget I'm a formidable granny, built like a fishwife, maybe next time I just charge towards them, those paltry youths with limbs like twiglets 🤷
