In practice aren't we diddling as to whether to allow Ukraine to raize Russian Oil/gas export infrastructure. It seems to me that would end the war. Although we may be saying the same thing depending on your views on the viability of the flamingo (or not).

There's no way Trump would really follow through on security guarantees, even if he made a real plan for it, which he isn't doing. And everyone knows that. Moscow wouldn't find it credible, Kyiv wouldn't trust it, there's no version that both sides would accept. It's BS, and the effect is stalling.
